I've probably not helped the influence situation by having to abandon two missions (ARC in Zaonce now 61%). I was going to say that the next time Progenitor Hayden Landry tells me a base is 'low security' I will make her fly with me, because I sure as hell don't consider barely limping away with less than a third of my hull remaining and a half dozen crippled or destroyed modules to be the result of 'low' security unless she's talking about how close to the ground they are. As it is, she seems to have been replaced by Founder Mickey Bonner (weird, I thought when you had a faction contact it was constant).

I'm taking some lower haulage missions in the Python to try and repair some of the damage.

EDIT: I've taken a lot of ARC haulage and trading missions, and one pain in the thrusters salvage mission in Aasgaa on which I've already wasted over an hour and had to jump out of the system twice because I became wanted for reasons I'm still not clear on. I'm going to focus on the 'simpler' ones and then leave it.

The war in Aasgaa is over, ARC is at 3% influence there. I know this because I was carrying 224t of illicit personal weapons in the hopes of finding a Seeking Weapons beacon. No such luck.

I was meaning to check last night but forgot. Have we lost Obruchev Settlement?

Hot off the monitor, the latest faction standings for ARC:

System Name Current Influence / Last Recorded Influence Controlling Faction (Faction Type)
Aasgaa 4.9% (4.6%) Colando Po Comms Group (Independent Corporate)
Arque 6.5% (4.9%) Arque Commodities (Alliance Corporate)
Colando Po 13.9% (12.9%) Colando Po Comms Group (Independent Corporate)
Hun Nal Yeh 9.3% (11.4%) People's Hun Nal Yeh Partnership (Federation Confederacy)
Santa Muerte 73.2% (72.2%) Alliance Rapid-reaction Corps (Alliance Cooperative)
Teorge 28% (8.8%) Neganhot Ltd (Independent Corporate)
Tianve 12.8% (11.6%) Tianve Central PLC (Independent Corporate)
Tionisla 5.3% (5.5%) Lave Fortune Organisation (Alliance Corporate)
Zaonce 70.8% (62.2%) Alliance Rapid-reaction Corps (Alliance Cooperative)

Things are improving. Teorge has seen a whopping increase from 8.8% to 28% - whoever's responsible for that, thanks!

I have spent some time in Hun Nal Yeh trying to boost ARC's influence there. Seems I'm not ding much good:(

Looks like there are a couple of other system where we are doing very well though. Is it worth pushing for control of one of those?

P.S. It seems that Zaonce and Hun Nal Yeh are in expansion at the moment.

Significant increases in several systems, only a few where we're dropping, and not only did we expand into Izhorians, I found we're also in Quator and presumably have been for a while. Evidently somebody is putting a lot of work into several of these systems.

It's a good thing that we have expanded, but I was sort of hoping we wouldn't. A failed expansion would have given Colando a boost.

Edit: I take it all back. Colando is doing just fine, so HURRAH for the expansion. :)

Back in action once again after slightly turmoilish RL issues, will be focusing on ARC missions after I have completed the current VIP ferry mission.
