This is all sounding pretty awesome. If we have the time and inclination, we might even be able to do a few variations. All Vultures, all Pythons etc.

Vibrant Blue has definitely become the uniform of ARC - if we ever do a community goal or other big event as a team we can all pitch up looking the part!

Fantastic pictures!

I like Luftal's idea of meeting up in stock Eagles at this lawless Haz Res site. I'm not so sure about the idea of the two wings going their own way at the site. I think it would be a good idea to practice coordinating attacks using two wings. If we are in Eagles then the NPCs there should provide opponents formidable enough for such a tactic. I suggest that we keep things simple and the two wings just take turns over who gets to fire the final shots. Of course when we get there and we're facing opponents in their own wings then we can always change tactics.

The best shot I got all evening. Hope Dayrth got some good shots of us in formation!

A few of the pics I took yesterday. Unfortunately not as high resolutions as I was hoping. Do high res shots only work in solo still?

Because the debug camera has limited movement and field of view I think we needed a much tighter formation for the first part of the shoot - some of the ships look far too distant. I was able to get the nose of my Python very nearly touching the wingtip of Dayrth's FDL without too much difficulty. Look how close we were able to get the Vultures.

We've certainly got some useable shots but if we do this again or particularly if we decide to do a video we're probably going to need much closer, tighter, neater formation flight. One possibility is that we all lock on to the same target destination so we're pointed precisely the same direction.
